Jeanne McManus, a native Washingtonian, has been a practicing artist since 2005. She has attended classes at the Corcoran School of Art, Montgomery College and the Yellow Barn.
In 2016 she received her MAP certificate from the Compass Atelier in Rockville, Maryland, an intense three-year program that takes students from the basics of classical art school training to experimentation and finally to independent study. She is now attending classes for alumni of the Atelier with her teacher and mentor, Glen Kessler.
